Step 1: Collect

We collect gently used business attire from various partners and members of the McGill and Montreal community. We strive to collect high-quality and fashionable clothing to help ensure that students feel good by dressing well. We collect men's and women's clothing items, including pants, shirts, sweaters, dresses, skirts, blouses, and suits and blazers. In addition, we collect a unique range of brands, such as Banana Republic, English Laundry, H & M, and Zara, to name a few. We are constantly collecting items and are so appreciative of donations.

Step 2: Sell

Once we have collected business attire from our partners and donors, a collaborative team effort is put into organizing and planning the suit sales. Our goal with these suit sales is to help students find their perfect business outfit at highly discounted prices. We believe in the power of reusing and repurposing clothes, and as a result, we have helped many students feel confident in themselves with the perfect suits and blazers for their interviews and internships. Our suit sales are also notoriously fun; our last sale was held at Gerts bar on McGill campus and we had so many people come and browse through our clothes, drink free coffee, and jam to good music.

Step 3: Donate

Suits U prides itself on donating to relevant and in-need community charities. By re-assessing affiliated charities on an annual basis, we are able to effectively contribute! With the devastation of the pandemic on the Milton-Parc houseless population, Suits U has maintained its commitment to donating to such a worthy cause. Meals for Milton Parc, Est. 2020, is student-led, providing meal-sharing services, care packages and collaborating with shelters and day centers to support the neighborhood.
